St. Stephen’s Upper School serves students from Third through Fifth grade.

The Upper School program at St. Stephen’s, covering grades 3 through 5, emphasizes whole-child learning—fostering academic, social, emotional, and physical growth in a dynamic and nurturing environment. While science lab work, novel studies, and project-based learning are central to the curriculum, students also engage in upper-level critical thinking, encouraging them to think deeply and creatively. The program blends structured lessons with hands-on, exploratory activities that stimulate curiosity and problem-solving skills. Diverse learning experiences, both inside the classroom and through engaging projects, provide opportunities for students to explore, collaborate, and develop a passion for learning that extends beyond the classroom. This well-rounded approach ensures that students master foundational skills while embracing new ideas and preparing for future academic challenges.
