EARLY CHILDHOOD

At St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Wimberley, Texas, our Early Childhood program provides a nurturing, play-based environment for children ages 2-4, building a strong foundation for school readiness and lifelong learning.

Our Two, Three, and Four Year Old classes use the Mother Goose Time curriculum, aligned with Texas Early Childhood Guidelines, to offer a structured yet flexible approach that supports cognitive and social-emotional development.

Through hands-on, teacher-guided activities including sensory play, art, games, and dramatic play, students explore, create, and develop critical thinking skills in an engaging, age-appropriate setting.

With a balance of structured learning and purposeful play, our program fosters confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.

LOWER & upper ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From Kindergarten through 5th grade, our Lower and Upper Elementary program offers a private elementary school experience defined by small class sizes, strong academics, and personalized attention. In a supportive and engaging environment, students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Middle School

Our Middle School program offers a private middle school experience where students grow in independence, confidence, and responsibility. With small class sizes and a strong academic foundation, students are challenged to think critically, take ownership of their learning, and prepare for success in high school and beyond.

Learning comes to life in our distinctive yurt classrooms, where students collaborate, create, and engage in hands-on learning in a setting that is anything but traditional. These unique spaces inspire curiosity, connection, and a deeper love of learning.

Students also explore their interests through enriching opportunities in art, music, garden, Spanish, physical education, archery, debate and speech, and MakerSpace, where they engage in real-world design, engineering, and technology.

Religious Education

At St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Wimberley, Texas, chapel is a meaningful part of student life, bringing our community together each week for faith, reflection, and connection. Our all-school chapel services take place on Wednesdays, uniting students across grade levels in engaging, age-appropriate worship experiences.

Rooted in the Episcopal tradition, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School welcomes students of all backgrounds, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment grounded in respect, compassion, and community.

Middle School students participate in bi-weekly Religious Education classes on Mondays, deepening their understanding of faith and exploring important spiritual lessons. Our Kindergarten through 5th grade students participate in bi-weekly teacher-led chapel, filled with praise songs, Bible stories, and engaging lessons that make learning about faith an exciting experience for everyone.

Our Preschool students also attend Chapel every Wednesday, led by Mrs. Donahoe, where Bible stories come to life through music, movement, and joyful, hands-on learning.
